Do not go with companies like talktalk, tiscali etc.
yeah, overall their packages are slightly cheaper, but when it comes to bt you simply cannot
fault them for customer service and reliability.
im assuming its adsl broadband you are
asking about.
if its cable, go with virgin media...but watch your bills. i am with vm and they sneakily added charges onto my bill for the last 4 months...noticed and got my money back.
my mam always told me you get what you pay for, and thats true.
companies like tiscali and talktalk rent the phone lines from bt....so when something goes wrong with the line, engineers from talktalk cannot
go and fix the problem...theyre legally not allowed to touch it. therefore, when your broadband is down, it takes three times as long to be reconected.
