Bt broadband billing q..?
My mate has been disconnected from bt broadband, and is now being charged the full contract amount in one lump sum request.what i am wondering, is if there are any ways to get the service back to the "pay monthly" option that it was?will bt accept a minimum payment to have the services reinstated, then continue the monthly contract that was originally agreed?im not too sure about the ins and outs these days at bt but i am sure it makes business sense, for bt to take a reasonable amount for whatever is owed to them, then once that amount is dissolved, then the monthly contract can resume.bt have said they want the full contract (12 month) amount upfront, then, and only then, will they consider starting a brand new account, with brand new charges, and a brand new payment plan, thus meaning that £400 is going to go to the company for having no service whatsoever. they havent even picked up their equipment!
