I have a nintendo wii and i am connected to orange broadand on my laptop. to connect to the broadband i have a usb modem (came free from orange when i got broadband)that plugs into the usb slot on my laptop and into the phone line socket on the wall. can i plug this into the usb ports on the wii to connect the wii to the net or will i have to connect it another way? if it has to be another way, could you explain/desrcibe it. thanks very much.

No you cant use this sorry. you have to get a usb wi fi adaptor for it from most game shops which would plug into the usb on your comp. however your laptop would need a constaint connection to the net as once the wii is internet ready it needs to update and needs a good strong connection to do this i reccommend using wireless to connect it tho if you can the wi fi adapters are not that great they are very tempremental hope this helps
