Had telewest (256kbps 600/700mb bandwidth) for about 2 years, now on the telewest website it goes to virgin media, the new telewest deal with virgin. also yesterday i ran an online scan to test internet speed & it said that now the connection is 1mb max (more than 256kbps which was what the connection was when we had it installed 2 years ago). so is telewest broadband now virgin broadband? if so then is it unlimited bandwidth as all their internet packages are? we have the tv/phone/broadband complete telewest package incase it makes any difference.

I think when telewest changed the packages last year everyone got upgraded. i remember asking for the 2mg and them saying id get up 4mg for the same price.
