I have just purchased a bt voyager 2110 router/modem... it came with everything its meant to, i used to connect via a usb modem (voyager 100) i dont know how to connect to the net using this new router/modem, i have connected it to the pc via ethernet and the pc wont detect it and i dont know how i should connect i cant install anything for this new router/modem, the help doesnt tell me anything... help please!

1, you need to read the instructions for the router2, find the instructions your isp sent you about your setup 3, plug an ethernet cable from the pc to one of the lan sockets on the router.switch on pc and check network connectionmake sure that your network connection has tcp/ip protocol and that it is set to find ip address automatically.4, switch on router5, start - run cmd:6: type ipconfig/renew7, type ipconfig/all8, note the number that appears as default gateway7, open internet explorer and type in the ip address shown as default gateway (it should be the one shown in the router instructions it will be something like 192.168.1.1)5, when asked for the password - use the one in the router instructions.6, go to the setup page and look for wan settings.7, use the wan settings show in the isp instructions and ok.
