Importing mobile phones to sell?
How would you start a small import business of importing mobile phones and selling them on ebay? what are the main legalities involved?
Answer
Vat and import duty.
make sure they are uk models (different frequencies are used in uk, europe, usa and japan ..)
ps i doubt you will be able to compete aganst those selling them from hongkong & canada (where the winner is stuck with the vat & import duty) or those selling (second-hand) ex-contract phones that have been unlocked ...
