Is it possible to get a job in a bank in turkey only speaking english?

I really fancy working in a bank...are there ever any positions for english speakers? or are there any similar jobs (ie 9-5 ish, office based, not sales or telesales)
Answer
The foreigners i know living in istanbul who work in banks were hired in their home countries, worked for the company for a while, then were transferred by their human resources departments on ex-pat packages. if you were to come to turkey and look for jobs, you would be competing against thousands of turks who a) speak turkish b) have family connections and c) are willing to work for around $1000/month (an average starting salary for bankers here).edit: to all who gave me thumbs-down: tell me exactly what was inaccurate about my post. if you are pissed that i pointed out what bankers make here, i could mention that starting associates at akbank make 800 ytl/month, but thought the better of it. my fiance who has an undergrad degree from an ivy league university and an mba from another us university was offered 1500 ytl/month to work at finansbank--and this was with him knowing the ozyegin family.
