Can i open a banking account in uk in swiss franks then in gbp?
If so which banks provide this? i will need to pay in my swiss frank cash into this account in the next step and then perhaps transfer this internationally to my banking acount in swiss.

Most banks have foreign currency accounts, though most only do euro or dollar variants.you are probably better off finding out if your bank in switzerland has a gb based account you can use, than the other way around.
