I have an hd-ready lcd tv and it resolutes in 1080i, do i need an hd box (comcast hd digital cable box for example) for the ps3 to show in hd or can i hook up the cables directly from the ps3 to the tv? also, what should i use hdmi or component cables, since they both resolute in 1080i?

I think using the hdmi cable from the ps3 to tv will give 1080i hd
