I wana format my laptop and install xp instead of vista?
Hi, i got a laptop a coulple of months ago and i cant stand vista i wana get rid of it and instal windows xp, can someone help ?what do i do?what do i need ect....thanks in advanceadam

Need an xp cd w/ serial numberneed the drivers for all your hardware.might need sata drivers to get the xp installer to recognize the hard drive.if you put the model/brand of your laptop you might be able to get more specific helpwhy not just disable the vista fluff to make it look like xp? set the theme to windows classic. turn off all the aero/glass stuff.i had vista looking like xp and found it to be just fine.
