As i need the computer downstairs to do my own for college,does somebody now where i can get 2 cheap laptops that are nice enough for them, in the uk. thanks. thanks for all your answers so far,i dont know what to do for the best now a desktop or laptop i shall discuss it with my husband,btw most of their homework is based on them searching the internet and getting notes to take back to school. plus i have 3 kid ren not 2 lol but he a babs so no homework yet lol.

Get an asus eeepc from www.nexus13.co.uk, these are being released in october, have shockproof flash memory and a 7" screen. they will cost about £175 each brand new (with a warrenty).personally i would get another desktop (maybe two) and network all the computers.
