I have a problem with the sound on my toshiba satellite laptop. i have had it for about 2 1/2 months and already the sound is weak. i first noticed it yesterday. the problem is that the speakers on the unit sound like they are blown (i have played it loud). however, when listening to music from my laptop, the sound has no bass- this effect is noticeable from both external speakers and headphones. which leads me to think that the problem is internal. before i go contacting call centres, i would appreciate any help from someone with a similar problem.any help would be gratefully acepted.

I would say that it is definalty a loose connection withing the unit. this could also be causing the distorution that you get when you play from the unit and the weak sound. i would contact a call center and get it replace/repaired if it is under warranty.
