suggest you do your own research (dyor) - if you think the banks etc. have submitted incorrect data to the government statistics office you are going to need to see their books .. (you will need a team of "forensic auditors" - should not
cost more than £10 -20m to do an in-depth audit of e
uk bank .. assuming they will let you of course ..)
