Hi, me and husband to be would like to buy are first home but we both have a bad credit rating?
We have a 20,000 deposit but do you think we will struggle to get a nice mortgage any companys you could sugest for us thanks

With a £20k deposit you should be able to get a mortgage although i would avoid the high street if i were you. go and see a specialist mortgage broker who deal with bad credit mortgages - they should help you. bear in mind that the interest rate offered to you if your application is successful will be considerably higher than if you had a squeaky clean record.
