His parents k out a mortgage 2 years ago and bought a house. the mortgage was in their names only. my husband and i had a legal charge on the house meaning that we each owned 25% of the house and therefore had to pay 25% of the mortgage to his parents each month. can i apply now for a first time buyer mortgage?- i have never had a mortgage in my name but had this charge. if you have had this help me.i am in wales by the way. - nice point!

I am not in wales, and unsure about the terms you are using. however, unless you are divorced you are married. before you buy a house i think you should finish up with the divorce.
