I have 2 laptops one with xp pro and the other xp tablet and the tablet one dosent have a cd drive and i wanna get some games onto it. both laptops have ieee 1394 ports plus the lan ports and i have a firewire cable and the lan cable. how can i do it. ive seen that you can allow the drive to be shared but how do you access it from another computer.

Please right click on the cd drive and choose sharing and security .. go through the steps .. provide both the computers same work group but different computer names. then you can share the cd drive.this is how u do sharing ..http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814004/en-ushope this helps.
