I am pretty sure i downloaded the right drivers, but the accessories status icon never lights up (plus when ever i hit my status button on my controller, my xbox 360 turns on)? what do i need to do?for somebody that has done this, does the controller work with emulators?

Did you mean your controller is wirelessly connected from your xbox 360 and you want it to work with your laptop?hmmmm...it is impossible i think...maybe in the future xbox may come up on that idea...;p
