I am 26 years old and looking to go back into higher education, full time on a 2 year course in cornwall. i would work part time to help with the costs and have no other dependants to fund or who would fund me. does anyone know of any useful websites or other contacts that carry advice on the financial aid i can receive to cover the cost of the course and help with the cost of living?i live in the uk.

You need to look at www.studentfinancedirect.co.uk this is not an advertisement like the other answers seem to be! this is the official site for the uk government funding for student finance, loans/grants etc.. you can apply for support online or download and application form, alternatively if you contact your local authority they will send a pack to you and can talk you through your funding options....is too complex to give full details on here.
