I have a 17" wide screen laptop and when i play games the screen shrinks to 17" normal screen. so, i cant use one of the best feature of my laptop. is there anyway of adjusting? from xp or the games setup menus?

When you set up the graphics on your game you need to set them for a 16 x 9 ratio, not a 4 x 3 ratio i.e. 800 x 600 is 4 x 3
