Do smaller laptop screens have better resolution for your eyes?

Because they are smaller , will the resolution be better, causing less eye strain than a larger screen?
Answer
Actually, it would be the opposite. you may be thinking that because the screen is bigger, it can be "set" to display a larger number of pixels (say 1024x768 or 1152x864) instead of 800x600, and you would be correct. but, if you imagine two laptops side by side, one has a 15" diagonal screen and the other has a 17" (or 19") diagonal scrren and both are set to 800x600, the larger screen will have larger icons, text, etc. therefore be easier to read.on many, if not all newer laptops, the individual pixel size is the same, or at least so similar you cannot tell. with monitors in the past, the dot-pitch (equivalent to pixel size) could vary greatly enough that some monitors looked blurry. i recommend a larger size display, and if you think you need glasses, see an optometrist - no joke.
