Take either egyptian pounds and travellers cheques. be careful when the locals give you change as their "pence" notes look
like their "pound" notes. i went to egypt last year and found a lot of tourists get swindled with this and you will loose out. another word of advice, you will get badgered in buying their (crap) perfume in the small side shops. politely refuse by saying "la shukran". means "no thank you". have a nice
