Try using canned air to remove any dust accumulated on the fan blades.an unbalanced weight on the blades due to the dust may be causing the noise.overheating often compromises the viscosity of the oil that lubricates the bearings in the fan ... this leads to more friction & hence also more noise. in this case you would need to replace the fan.regards,philip t
