Microstar md2852 laptop - faulty fan turns off after 1 minute?

I have a microstar md2852 laptop and the fans turn off after a minute or two causing the pc to overheat and turn off. both fans come on at boot up so they are working ok. help...any ideas?

Try getting some compressed air or an air compressor and blow out the fans. compusa also sells an antec notebook cooler for 25$ that sits underneath your laptop
