Laptop fan?

Hello, my laptop gets hot so i got a normal room fan. i turned it onf facing the vent of my laptop. this helps my laptop alot but iw as wandering is it dangerous?

It wont hurt anything .. the room temp will affect the system temp greatly to .. and be sure ur heatsink isnt clogged with gunk ..
