Rear door not staying up?

I have a 1998 vauxhalll corsa and the rear or tailgate door usually stays up when opened but now it falls down. how can i fix this as i would like to diy

Its the hydraulic poles that hold it up - you will probably need 2 new ones. go to your local scrap yard or buy some new ones from a vauxhall parts dealer.
