Hi,i only know a few things about shares..because i researched it on the net..but most sites make it sound so complicated. so if some1 could answer these following questions..i wud appreciate it:1) where can buy shares from?2) how blokey shares do i have to buy (minimum)?3) where do i check the share prices?

1. use your stocks n shares isa allowance £7000 per year the gains of which are tax free. 2. consider buying into investment companies first as they allow you to dip toes into the water with a smaller lump sum and spreads the risk. 3. trade costs are usually c£12.00 per trade depending on the frequency you trade. 4. i would recommend of investing a minimum of £1000 in each share to minimise the fixed costs of trading affecting your profit 5. the financial times is a nice website/newspaper for checking prices - or any decent newspaper in the business section. `
