Has somebody successfully received funds from their bank by just asking them to refund all bank charges over the last 6 years (as highlighted on radio and in the newspapers) without any comeback? apparently you can take your bank to the small claims court over this and receive thousands of pounds back for e time the bank has charged you for going over your overdraft limit, sent you a letter informing you you are out of funds etc. these letters are standard ones that cost about 10p to run off, the cost of a first class stamp to send and yet we are charged anything from £20 - £35. i would be really interested to know if somebody has done this, won, and not had their bank account closed or had the wrath of the bank drop on their head.!
