My acer aspire 5102wlmi laptop key pad and mouse freezes when i put it on? as soon as l turn on my acer aspire 5102wlmi laptop, all the keys on the key pad dont work.i have tried my best and its still the same. you cant go to setup by pressing f2 or restarting it by pressing ctrl+alt+del, it will go straight and load the windows to the password menu, nothing works. l just noticed this, l closed it when it had finished loading windows and it went to stand by, it came out of stand by after i had pressed any key on the key pad. my key pad works when my laptop is in a stand by mode. what should l do? god bless u guyz

Ok george,what io need you to do is turn on your laptop and gently tap the f8 key until you see a safe mode screen appear then choose safe mode and wait for the desktop to load,once this has happened the select system restore(start_programs_accesories_system tools_system restore) then select the ealiest restore point before this happened and then select next upon restoring your laptop should boot up ok altrenatively you may need to do a system reco with the disk supplied with the laptop,however this may not work if the boot order is not set to cd rom first finally you could go into safe mode again and the into power options,making sure you select a balanced option nice luck mate!
