can sks explain why, when my laptop mouse hovers on desktop, it opens items without clicking? i have it set to singleclick-highlight and doubleclick-open.how can i stop it having a mind of its own?tiabecksy

I think your mouse is touch pad.i know what you mean.while moving your mouse or the cursor make sure it is not attached in to the mouse pad.
