Hi! i wanna
play music from my laptop on bookshelf speakers, what do i need to do ?
Surely not out of the headphone plug ? is there some usb connector that i can use, or is there not enough power from my laptop to be of use for smallish speakers ? do i need to put it through an amp ?help...

Connect your hifi / speakers through the headphone socket, its the best way, (you will probably need a headphone to av lead)although there may be other ports depending on which laptop you have
