Yep the usb tv turners are only fair. if you live in the metropolitan area you should be ok. if you live in the sticks you will need an antenna. look at something like wintv usb by hauppauge.www.hauppauge.com [from $79-99 officemax type stores] or check ebay.been using wintv desktop for about 7-9 years. the software is cool.. you can even set it up to record shows (have the hd space) with the free add-in software.
