Hi, i was wondering if anyone had anymore ideas on what is the problem with my motherboard. can a board be easily short circuited if something metal hits the pcb contacts while the comptuer is on? i know it will shut down but can it damage the board to not turn the graphics on?apart from external monitors, usb graphics cards, standby switches, trmex chips, is there anyway to force to computer to load the graphics and get the display working?thankslee

Have you recently spilt something on the keyboard? the slightest bit of moisture can shortcircuit you laptops motherboard.
