Are there any classic or good rock and roll radio stations in merseyside, or is eextremely
thing cheesy top 40 radio
All i seem to get is brainless dance music or phoney top 40 pop music on the dial in my car. are there any nice rock and roll radio stations available on the airwaves here in liverpool that play a mixture of classic rock and progressive stuff from new rock artists?

Unfortunately rita all the commercial stations try to please as many people as possible and end up playing soulless anodyne pap.radio city has taken this to an extreme where it appears that they only own three records, and only ever play two of them.radio 2 has about the widest verity of music, but in the afternoon this entails having to listen to the most annoying person on the radio(steve wright). i have to turn it off.if you listen on the net, you can find radio stations which will tailor the output to your own particular tastes.
