Somebody know anything about replacing hard drive on laptop?
I dropped my laptop..the hard drive is knackered...bought a new drive...i know i have to reinstall all programs..but now someone has told me that its a complcated process..and that the drive has to be formmated and god knows what...can any one tell me ..i dont wnat to do any thing till i am sure

Although you will need to reformat and partition the hard drive, this is all a part of the process for re-installing the os. if you are using windows it will have a step in the installation process which will accomplish this for you. you have to answer a few questions about how you want it partitioned and formatted. easy cheezy.
