I set my compaq laptop on earlier but the phone rang before i put in the password now its a blan screen and i cant get it on does someone know how i can unlock it thanks bert thats done it

Press the power button. that will take it out of hibernate or stand-by. if that fails, hold the power button down for 7 seconds to turn it off, then turn it back on. bert
