Sellers liability after selling the car??
Is the seller no longer liabal for the car he sold from the date stated on registration form sent to dvla or the date dvla receives the form?

When you have signed over to the new buyer ,they become legal owners . thus when a car is sold i find it is
best to send off the transfer part of the vehicle log myself and not rely on the buyer.
also i would advise you to get the new owner to sign a piece of paper saying ( bought as seen )
