I am an irish citizen living in canada and i would like to return to ireland to open a small business. the business that i am looking at is a wine & oil (special oils / olive and such) shop. i wonder if this type of shop would be nice seeing how whiskey is the largest drink of choice by most irish in canada. also can you give a web site that gives the answer to what i need to do and how to apply for a business license? as for taxes i understand vat (value added tax) because i am a business consultant / accountant in canada. though i wonder about taxes paid for employees so help me here , . i would also need to know how to make arrangements for locating a store front. i want to know what are the hours and days that stores are allowed to open. if you can help me i would appreciate it much. also if i have left anything out let me know. i understand business in canada but need to learn how businesses are operated in ireland.
