An elderly couple has some savings. the wife has to go into a nursing home for long term care.?
Their savings are over the limit so they will have to pay until the savings reduce to a certain amount. the savings are in their joint names. so is only half the savings credited to the wife, or do the entire savings count as capital

This is one law i find outrageous,the elderly have worked all their lives,paid into the system for over 50 years and are now expected to spend their life savings on nursing home care,its scandalous,one of the worse laws ever invented.
in the meantime someone from another country can come here,leave all the family back home,claim hundreds of pounds a week for them and nothings said,whats wrong with this fecking country ?
