What happens to your programs and files when you upgrade your memory on your laptop?
I need to upgrade my laptop memory, i know what i need cause i went on crucial.com/uk. how do i change it over without losing my files, programs etc??????
Answer
You have nothing to worry about.installing or changing the memory does not affect any data on the computer. all of your programs, files etc are stored on the hard drive and not on the memory.
