Can you get add ons for this machine okay... honest reviews only ... i can buy this machine for £499 plus vat, is it worth it?

Sorry this is going to be a long answer for the price you can get the laptop for it is a good buy however the thing about sony is this - they make a small upgrade to a laptop then resell it with a new model number. for example the specs of the fs315e:intel celeron-m 380 processor 1.6ghz 512mb ddrii sdram80gb hard drive dvd dual layer drive 15.4" xga widescreen tft screen intel gma 900 128mb shared graphics integrated lan and 56k v.90 data fax modem integrated wireless 802.11b/g 3 usb 2.0 sockets 4-pin firewire (ieee 1394) port microsoft windows xp home edition pre loadedand the specs for the fs415e:intel celeron-m 390 processor 1.7ghz 512mb ddrii sdram80gb hard drive dvd dual layer drive15.4" xga widescreen x-black tft screen intel gma 900 integrated 2-in-1 card reader – reads memory stick pro & memory stick duo 3 usb 2.0 sockets integrated docking port 4-pin firewire (ieee 1394) port integrated lan and 56k v.90 data fax modem integrated wireless 802.11 b/g lanmicrosoft windows xp home edition pre loadedand finally the fs515e:intel celeron-m 390 processor 1.7ghz 512mb ddrii sdram80gb hard drive dvd dual layer drive15.4" xga widescreen x-black tft screen intel gma 900 integrated card reader – reads memory stick, memory stickpro & memory stick duo 2 usb 2.0 sockets 4-pinfirewire (ieee 1394) port integrated lan and 56kv.90 data fax modem integrated wireless 802.11 b/glanmicrosoft windows xp home edition pre loadeddo you notice anything?the 315e and 415e are extremely similar except the motherboard and the processor there is a small processor upgrade the celeron-m 380 has a different socket from the celeron-m 390 processor both are from the same family so the same archetecture so they is only is slight increase in performance.what about the 415e and 515e? cant see anything? according to this the 515e loses a usb port. this is why i avoid sony they just rebrand and resell older model laptops.
