I am using logic on a macbook pro, but i am having a hard time working out what to look out for. plz explain in as much detail as possible if you can!

Bigger the better that way you can fit more usable control panels on the screen. .. a tft is only really a necessity if you are recording electric guitars (they create some noise it single coil pickups like neon tubes do)
