I recently travelled from schiphol (amsterdam) to ohare (chicago) in the last week of december. i bought a couple of bottles of spirits (liquor and perfumes) from duty free shop at schiphol. they handed me these before entering the plane and these were sealed in plastic bags and i was instructed not to open the seals until i reach my destination airport.so, yes, you can take duty free spirits on flights to usa .
