1. if you fly say from edinburgh to london, and are intending to catch a follow-on flight to paris, do you need to check in again? is your hand luggage re-x-rayed?i do this a lot, just annoyed with my memory.2. flying from knoxville to dulles to london to edinburgh. you only go through customs once in london, right? is your baggage checked through all the way from knoxville to edinburgh or just to london?

It gets re x-rayed at the connecting airport. otherwise you could slip anything in before boarding the new aircraft xxx
