Nonstop flights london-sydney?

Is there any arline which currently operates nonstop flights from london to sydney, without ever stopping for refuelling in fareast asia? when did such flights start, and what aircraft is capable of performing such long flights? lastly. .how long does it take to fly nonstop, and how do passengers cope with spending 20 hrs in the air (assuming that that is the time spent flying nonstop between the two destinations)?
Answer
Its not possible yet commercially (it has been done as a test flight in 2005) but the 777-200lr dreamliner when launched next year will be able to fly from london to sydney non stop. qantas have man y of these on order and its expected that they will fly this route but i dont think its possible to fly the other way because of the earth rotation and prevailing winds. see bbc page:- http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4266695.stm and its a load of bollocks that a 747 can do it from the guy who posted below, check your facts!
