I am considering getting a lastminute.com deal, for arount eh 24th august. would it be cheaper to wait until about a week before to get the cheapest prices or would now be better to book? does the price generally go down with the deals if you book later? also, would it be cheaper to book a flight and hotel seperately? or would the flight prices go high?

In my experience,last minute holidays are better value than the diy option.try about 14 days before you want to go for a good deal.try other suppliers as well,"thomson holidays" first choice,thomas cook,airtours etc all do good last minute deals.
