Answer
Most cruise ships will do 20 to 25 knots. a few will reach 30 but this is also weather dependent. i was on an old ship a couple of years back which was scheduled to do 18 knots from corsica to mallorca in the med but against a big wind and sea we only made nice 13 knots and were hours late arriving.
