I am based in the uk and wanna go on a holiday at some point this year with my partner. we have around £500 to spend each. specifically we wish to travel on our holiday - we wanna explore a country or an area. we have been travelling around most of europe so are looking for slightly further afield or something amazing in europe we havent yet seen. we ideally want sun and the chance to sit on a beach. our main ideas were thailand, laos and cambodia - but the flights were well over out budget. we also thought of croatia but it seems to cost a fortune to get there. any help would be greatly appritiated. thanks

Also, slovenia is worth for checking out, there are both cooler climate & mountainous areas in the north (bled & triglav for example) as well as sunshine and beaches in the south (in portoroz by the adriatic coastline)!
