.i am in america, and live in england.i am on disability and incapacity benefits, due to a stroke i suffered a while back, and have met an american lady online.

I cannot believe some of the negative comments from ignorant people you have received. i also was on disability. the fact is that disability living allowance is paid even if you do work. people are so quick to jump down your throat, it really makes me sick. it is paid so you can try to make your life more tolerable, and if that means taking a vacation, so be it. who is it for them to say how you spend it.is it a crime for anyone with disabilities to have a vacation? no, i think not. you do not need to inform them as long as you are not out the country for any longer than 4 weeks.i hope some of the idiots that wrote negative comments are struck down with some disabling condition so they know what it feels like to walk a day in our shoes.i saved some of my benefits for more than 5 years to go on vacation, the 1st vacation for me in more than 10 years.people are a bit to quick making judgements about things they know nothing about.have fun buddy, hope all goes well with the lady.
