We have the greats of shakespear in english and principa by newton for maths.. is there an equivalent piece for actuarial science??

Gregor mendel (1865) - versuche über pflanzen-hybriden (experiments in plant hybridization) - considered to be the father of genetics
isaac newton (1687) - principa book ii - the theory of fluids: solves problems of fluids in movement and of motion through fluids. from the density of air he calculated the speed of sound waves.
