My handbreak and breaks have broken. how much to get them fixed?
A mechanic is collecting my car to fix it this week. the breaks are going and the handbreak comes up way high.its a peugeot 106.will it be a fortune? its my first car and have never had to pay for mechanics before!

If your brakes are going its either pads/shoes or discs usually.
the parts cost about 55 quid for front or rear if you source from an autofactor.double this if you need both. the mechanic will add on his bit + labour. 1.5 hrs to fit front and 1.5 to fit rear.

the handbrake just needs adjusting
